BAD EXPERIENCE, BAD SERVICE, BAD TIRE CHANGE. I booked a tire change appointment two weeks in advance as I had one day off to get a bunch of appointments done. I was told that the appointment would be for an hour, so I proceeded to book the rest of appointments I needed that day. When I arrived they took a walk-in customer with no appointment ahead of me. While that customers vehicle was being serviced, my car was still sitting in the lot a half hour later. I asked for my keys back as I would not be able to wait any longer and make my next appointment. The guy at the desk laughed it off saying they are really busy and disorganized sometimes. He then said he would go and help to get me out of there quickly. Less than 10 minutes later my tires were changed and I was paying the bill. How can an hour appointment now take less than 10 minutes?? I now hear a rubbing sound when I drive my vehicle. I will have to make an appointment at another shop to check out the work they did and make sure it is safe. I drive an hour to work everyday and safety is a top priority. I did not receive any of the vehicle reports promised. Overall this was a very bad experience that has left me feeling distrustful, unsafe and disrespected.
Hi Sandy. I am very sorry that this experience has led you to feel disrespected as that was certainly not our intent. Instead I hoped that my willingness to personally ensure your vehicle had very top priority communicated the exact opposite. And I had thought that since you were able to leave 15 minutes before promised time would have communicated our commitment to you satisfaction. Your business is extremely highly valued and we certainly respect your time. I would be happy to recheck your car at no charge to identify the cause of the rubbing noise. We even have loaner cars that you are welcome to borrow if that helps ease the pressure of a tight schedule. If I may offer an explanation for yesterday's experience, however:
As I mentioned during our conversation from yesterday, the other lady got in earlier because her car required a different skill set than yours. The technician with that particular skill set came available earlier than the technician required for yours.
Also, when you voiced your concerns I certainly did not laugh it off... in fact I explained why the vehicles come in the shop in the order they do and then jumped out of my chair, took 2 technicians from the jobs they were doing and all 3 of us worked on your car immediately. That is why you got out in 10 minutes, not because we did sub par work. Booy's Action Auto Centre
